Tell us about yourself

Hi... I'm April!  I live in the gorgeous mountains of Virginia, with my three Sprouts (ages 6, 4 and 3).  You'll often find us outside, exploring the beautiful world around us, as we love hiking, camping, birdwatching and geocaching. Another passion of mine is, of course, sewing and crafting.  Oh, and coffee. Gotta have my coffee.  ;)

Tell us about your business

My children and our goal to live as naturally as possible is the inspiration behind Enchanted Dandelions, where I offer handmade, ecofriendly products for babies, children and the home.Through my business, I am combining three of my biggest passions- children, sewing, and learning. I have learned so much in the process of building Enchanted Dandelions to what it is today, and I look forward to what the future may bring.

What has been your biggest challenge so far?

As a single mama to three little ones, including one with special needs, the biggest challenge is balancing everything. Our life can get pretty chaotic at times, and it's a constant juggling act. However, my children are huge supporters of my business, and love helping out where they can.

Where do you advertise...or do you?

I currently am not advertising online, although it is something I'm in the process of researching.  I do occasionally post on my local Craigslist with some success.

Do you have a Website, Blog, Facebook Page, etc.?

I mainly sell my products on Etsy, a huge online marketplace for handmade products (http://www.enchanteddandelions.com)  I'm very happy with them, although I'm currently working on an official Enchanted  Dandelions website.   I do have a blog,  but it is very much neglected at the moment and needs a complete overhaul.  ::blush::  The one thing I do keep up with is my Facebook business page.  It is a great way for me to connect with my customers, advertise new products and sales, receive feedback and more. http://www.facebook.com/enchanteddandelions.
